The one-time and per-gift costs, in plain sight

  • Setup: $500 one-time for Church Site, $1,000 for Site + App — waived entirely on 3-year agreements.
  • Streaming equipment: about $1,000–$1,300 one-time for most sanctuaries — camera, streaming computer, and audio from your existing sound board. Your church owns all of it.
  • Installation: $500 one-time in our Central New York service area — we mount, wire, configure, and train your volunteers. Outside our area, we ship a pre-configured kit and walk your team through setup by video call at no install fee.
  • Giving: Stripe's processing (about 2.9% + 30¢ per card gift; churches can apply for Stripe's discounted nonprofit rate, and bank/ACH gifts cost much less) plus our 2% platform fee on digital gifts. Givers can choose to cover the fees — most do.

Straight answers for church leadership

What does the monthly price include?
Everything it takes to run your church online: the website build (and app build on the Site + App plan), hosting, security and uptime monitoring, the AI assistant, your giving pages, your live-stream page, and ongoing monthly updates — new sermons posted, events updated, announcements refreshed. Setup is a one-time $500 (site) or $1,000 (site + app), and a 3-year agreement waives it entirely.
How does online giving work, and what does it cost?
Your church gets its own Stripe account — donations go directly to your church's bank, never through ours. Costs, in plain sight: Stripe's card processing (about 2.9% + 30¢; churches can apply for Stripe's discounted nonprofit rate), much less for bank/ACH gifts, and our 2% platform fee on digital gifts. Givers can choose to cover the fees when they give, and most do. Every fee is in your agreement, not fine print.
What equipment do we need to live stream?
For most sanctuaries, about $1,000–$1,300 one-time: a quality camera, a small dedicated streaming computer, and an audio connection to the sound board you already have — good sound matters more than fancy video. Your church owns every piece of it. Larger sanctuaries or multi-angle setups cost more, and we'll quote that honestly after a site visit.
Who runs the stream on Sunday morning?
A volunteer presses one button — that's the whole job. We install the equipment, configure everything, train two of your volunteers, and leave a plain-English card for the rare morning something misbehaves. Streaming runs on YouTube behind the scenes, so there's no limit on how often or how long you stream — Sunday services, Bible studies, weddings, funerals, whenever you want.
Do we need a music license to stream our services?
If your services include copyrighted worship music, yes — a CCLI Streaming License, typically around $84–$108 a year for smaller congregations. It's your license and your cost, but we'll point you to it and make sure you're set up during onboarding. We'd rather tell you now than have you find out later.
Is there a contract?
Plans are 1-year or 3-year agreements — and the 3-year agreement waives the setup fee entirely. Your giving stays portable by design: because the Stripe account is your church's own, your givers and their recurring gifts keep working even if you ever leave us.
Who owns what?
Your church owns its Stripe giving account, its app store listing (the app is published under your church's own developer account — Apple waives its fee for nonprofits), your domain name, and all your content. AInovations builds and operates the website and app as part of the service. If you ever cancel, we export your content and hand over your domain, and your giving keeps working.
