What PooPawtrol does

Someone else cleans the yard. You just book it.

PooPawtrol picks up after your dogs so you don't have to — once, or on a schedule that keeps the yard permanently sorted. Everything runs through the app: booking, changes, reminders and payment.

🗓️

One-time or on a schedule

Book a single clean-up when the yard has gotten away from you, or set a repeating plan — weekly, twice a week, every two weeks, or monthly — and stop thinking about it.

⏱️

Only real time slots

The app only offers times that genuinely work. It accounts for the actual drive time between stops and leaves a buffer, so the slot you pick is a slot that gets honored.

💳

Pay how you want

Venmo, a card, or cash at the visit. Repeating plans can charge automatically on each visit day, so there's nothing to remember and nothing to chase.

🔔

A reminder the night before

You get an email the evening before every visit — bring the dogs in, make sure the gate is reachable. Push notifications keep you posted on anything that changes.

📍

Your address, saved

Set your profile once with your address and gate notes. Every booking after that takes seconds.

🌙

Light and dark

The app follows your phone's theme, so it looks right whether you're booking over morning coffee or last thing at night.

Inside the app

A few taps from "the yard is bad" to "it's on the calendar."

Built for iPhone and Android as a real native app — not a web page in a wrapper. It follows your phone's light or dark theme automatically.

How it works

Three steps, then it runs itself.

1

Set up your yard

Add your address, your dogs and anything worth knowing — the gate code, where the latch sticks.

2

Book the visit

Choose a one-time clean-up or a repeating plan and pick a time that's actually open.

3

Get the reminder

The night before, you get an email. On the day, the yard gets cleaned and the payment is handled.

Behind the counter

The half of the app the customer never sees.

A booking app is only as good as the tools the owner gets. PooPawtrol ships with a private back office that runs the entire business from a phone browser — the schedule, the money, the customers and the settings.

Owner portal — today and tomorrow

The run, in orderOpens on today and tomorrow. Each visit carries the time, the customer, the service, the dog count, the address as a map link, and a tap-to-call number. Pills show at a glance what is a regular, what has been moved, what is done and what is still unpaid.
Owner portal — bookings and payments

Every booking and every dollarCharge a saved card or Venmo, record cash, confirm, cancel, or move a visit. A declined payment puts the plan on hold with the reason in plain English — and a single button to resume it once it clears.
Owner portal — send a message to customers
The PooPawtrol message composer, showing how many phones have notifications on and a log of messages already delivered
One message, the whole customer baseShe writes a title and a message and it lands as a push notification on every customer phone that opted in — a promotion, a seasonal special, spring clean-ups opening for the year, a new service she has added. The portal tells her how many phones are reachable before she sends, and keeps a log of everything sent with the number it was delivered to.
Owner portal — services and prices
The PooPawtrol services and prices editor, where the owner sets her own prices and seasonal months
Her prices, her servicesShe names the services, sets the prices, picks how often each repeats, flags one "Most Popular" and limits seasonal work to the months she offers it. Saving pushes it straight to the app; bookings already taken keep the price they were booked at.

Everything in the build

  • Native apps for iPhone and Android — one codebase, published to both stores under our developer accounts, with the store listings, icons, screenshots and privacy policy written and submitted.
  • A booking engine that understands the road — it only offers times that fit, using real drive time between stops plus a buffer she sets, job lengths she sets per service, and an allowance for extra dogs.
  • One-time and repeating plans — weekly, twice a week, every two weeks and monthly, each holding its slot and rolling forward on its own.
  • Payments — Venmo, card, or cash at the visit, with saved payment methods and automatic charging on each visit day for repeating plans.
  • Failed-payment handling — a decline puts the plan on hold, tells her why, and waits for her instead of silently retrying or losing the customer.
  • A month calendar and day stepper — visit counts on every day, arrows through any day past or future, and a tap to jump to that day's run.
  • Time off that asks first — block a day or a few hours and, if visits are already booked in it, the portal lists them and offers to move them all, each re-timed on one page and saved together, or to leave them alone.
  • Her own hours and settings — opening hours per weekday, one-off hours for a single date, job durations per service, buffer time, and extra minutes per additional dog.
  • Calendar sync — connect once and every visit is copied across within seconds, and stays correct when something is booked, moved or cancelled.
  • Push notifications to the whole customer base — she writes a title and a message in the portal and it goes out to every customer phone that opted in, in one send. The portal shows how many phones are reachable before she sends, reports how many it reached, and keeps a running log of every message with its delivery count.
  • Four automatic emails — new booking and cancellation alerts to her, a nightly list of tomorrow's visits, a night-before reminder to each customer, and a "your visit has moved" notice with the old and new times.
  • A secure owner login — private, forced password change on first sign-in, and a password she can change any time.
  • Hosting, updates and monitoring — the back end, the database, the scheduled jobs and the store releases are all ours to run. She never patches anything.
Nobody has to remember anything

The email that would otherwise be a phone call.

New bookings and cancellations

The owner is told the moment something lands or drops, so the schedule is never a surprise.

Tomorrow's run, tonight

Every evening, a list of the next day's visits goes out — the route, before it starts.

The night-before reminder

Customers are reminded to bring pets in and make sure the yard can be reached. Fewer wasted trips, fewer awkward moments.

"Your visit has moved"

If a time changes, the customer gets the old time and the new one in writing, automatically.

Reaching customers

One message, every customer, straight to the phone.

The app is not only how customers reach the business — it is how the business reaches them. From the portal, the owner writes a title and a message and sends it to her entire customer base as a push notification: a promotion, a seasonal special, a new service. It arrives on the phone like any other app alert, with no mailing list to maintain, no per-message cost, and nothing to type into a third-party tool.

📣

The whole base in one send

Every customer who turned notifications on gets it at once — a promotion, a seasonal special, spring clean-ups opening for the year, a new service added to the list. Announcements that are worth making to everybody at the same time.

📶

She knows the reach before she sends

The portal shows how many customer phones are reachable right now, so she knows the size of the audience before she writes anything. It is a count, not a list — the broadcast goes out to every opted-in phone at once.

🧾

A log of everything sent

Each message is kept with its date, its text, and how many phones it actually reached — a record she can look back at rather than a message that vanishes once it is sent.

🎯

It fills the quiet weeks

A notification to the existing base is the cheapest booking a service business can get. A promotion, a special, the season opening — put in front of the people who already pay, in seconds.

This is what a small business app looks like when it's actually finished.

PooPawtrol is a local dog waste removal business. It now has a native iPhone and Android app, a booking engine that understands drive time, automatic payments, a back office that runs from a phone, and the emails that hold it all together. We designed it, built it, published it under our developer accounts, and we keep it running — so the owner runs the business, not the software.
